bottle thanks to muckjoe! Pours hazy orange, tall frothy white head. Pale malt and light banana nose with a hint of alcohol. Wheat and bready malt flavors mix with some clove and banana. Really nice weizen flavors going on. Ends mild with a lingering wheat and some light alcohol. Nice beer.

Bomber pours clear deep gold with white head. The aroma is sweet malts and wheat as well as lesser amounts of grains and floral hops. The taste starts with a mix of floral hoppy bitterness, sweet malts and wheat. To midway it gets sweeter with notes of banana blending into mild fruity esters like plums, cherries and apricots. It stays pretty sweet with mild floral hops and faint spicy hops into the after taste.

Bottle. Pours an amberish orange with a thin film of a white head. Aromas are fairly sweet and fruity... honey, berries and pears come to mind. Flavor is better than expected given the sweetness of the nose. There is quite a bit of yeasty spicing that makes it interesting and buries the sweet fruit notes. This is pretty good stuff.

Pour is a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is some banana and clove but not much there. Flavor is a bit weak with some spice and clove but again nothing really stands out. Maybe I got a bad bottle seeing other ratings here because this is just average in my book.

Sampled at the Bocktown, in a frog green colored sample glass. Clear and filtered, rather pale yellow, I think. Barely any hint of wheat olfactory, rather transparent. Initial spicy and wheatish taste impact. Also carries a low medium bitter intrinsic flavor, most likely because it’s over 5%. Slightly unrefined, anti-smoooth. Decent carbonation. Finish is mildly annoying lingering medicine, but in a good way.

Shared with Kinz for an impromptu tasting. Cloudy amber body with a small off-white head. Fresh banana aroma with a ight clove background. Sweet banana flavor, some clove and a fairly carbonated mouthfeel.

Shared by Goldtwins (thanks, Larry!) - glowing coudy orange, with a fizzy, short-lived head - earthy, citrus aroma, though a bit soapy - thinish body - semi-tart, with an almost sour orange flavor to it (not the rind, or the fruit, but that membranous stuff that holds the fruit together - you know what I’m talkin’ about) - medium wheat malt presence - different, but not in an entirely good way.
