On tap at Cloud 9, pours Blanc with a reddish tinge and a small tan head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and no notice of the salted caramel. Flavour is pretty weak, with light toasted malt and a touch of faint caramel. Mellow carbonation and not a nice balance of flavours.

On draft at the brewpub it is a dark brown color with a slight head. The aroma is hints of coffee and the taste is a slow evolving flavor and has hints of coffee that had a definate coffee finish

On tap. Pours out black topped with tan head. Nose is roast malts chocolate coffee some sweetness. Taste is as the nose with a nice mellow roast some sweetness and a little brine. Not sure I would call this a imperial stout.

On Tap at the Boise BP Opaque black with a very nice full dense light brown head. Soft sweet mocha and light roast aroma. Sweet chocolate and a little holiday spice. Big sweet chocolaty flavor. And something else that must be "salted caramel" Definitely a dessert beer, but not overly sweet or heavy. Interesting twist on the stout style that I think works.

The salted caramel smooths out the rough edges, making this one sn easy drinker. Normal aroma and taste for a stout. Pretty good stuff.
