Nine different grains are combined in this organic porter, which also includes Columbus, Galena and Mount Hood hops. The silky feel of this porter accentuates the varied chocolate notes, and the creamy head stays put as you drink it. Hints of roasted caramel come through in this balanced ale, and the robust porter style's classic dark color, mild-bitterness and malty flavor are exemplified in this beer.

On tap at Cloud 9, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted dry grains and a little faint espresso. Flavour is very grainy, with lots of toasted malt and dry cocoa. Dry and grainy, with a lightly bitter finish. Decent.

On tap at the Boise BP clear very dark brown. Thin tan head. Big aroma of chocolate and coffee. Big sweet maltiness, A very easy drinking porter. Again, pretty low on the balancing bitterness.

Again the abundance of grains smooths out a lot of the normal bitterness. Soft aroma and taste, minimal finish.
