Inspired by our home and great state of Idaho, we crafted this Belgian Style Tripel to highlight the world class ingredients we have in our backyard. Haus made candi sugar made from our local beets contribute to a light body. We use a hefty bill of malt for sweetness and a carefully selected yeast strain for a fruity, ester-rich flavor.

Bottle on the RBSG bus from Stevoj. Pours a golden orange color with a small white head. Aroma is sweet and fruity, yeast. A little malty. Tasts heavily sweet, light spice, and esters. Pretty malty, fruity yeast, and unfortunately sort of dull.

Bottle thanks to Steve. Pours a clear golden hue with a small white head. A big sweet fruity nose. Sweet, banana esters, pepper, sugary, very hot. OK.

Bottle on the RBSG bus tour. I provided this to show the out of towners why Powderhaus wasn’t included. Milky yellow pour, dull pour. Overly yeasty aroma tries to hard to replicate the Belgian style. Taste too is sweet and flowery in all the wrong places. It was getting close but not close enough..

On Tap at the Haus. Clear golden. No head and just a single row of bubbles trying to make it all the way around the glass. Server even tried to coax a little bit out., but no. The ABV is definitely there but I am pickng up a little buteriness and slick palate at the end. Pretty bitter I think as well. Just OK

On tap at brewery. pours out a crisp golden topped with a ring of a head. Nose is belg candy sugar pit fruit toffee and spice. Taste is more of the sweet malts toffee caramel pit fruit and some odd not so plesent end.
