Tap @ Growler Guys. Pours a golden hue with a modest amount of white head. Nose is herbal, cereal grains. Some bitterness and a little spicy. Hard to describe... Maybe it’s the potato. I liked it, maybe it’s the novelty of the state’s iconic ag product in the brew, but it’s pretty darn decent.

On tap at alefort pours out a dark golden topped with a sand head. Nose is big cereal malts a light hop note. Taste is more of the toasted cereal malts and light hop. Not sure about the potatoes? Kind of funny we live in Idaho so for some reason we need to have potatoes in our beer. It is like the Japanese always adding rice to beer. No need for that but it’s a Japanese thing.

Also known as Idaho Potato Ale (IPA). A bit milder than the norm for the Nw, but still pretty tasty, and refreshing. Nice amber hue with small frothy head. Mild hops bitterness and clean finish.
