Draft - Caramel and twig. Clear caramel with a frothy white head. Twig and light bitter caramel. True to style.

Poured into a pint glass, the appearance was a ruddy burnt orange color with a thin white foamy head that dissipated fairly quick. Light lace.
The aroma had some sweet malty biscuity/bready tones touched with some grassy hops. Caramel and toffee qualities slide in for a nice English-esque crispness. Slight clean earthiness, mild acceptable soapiness.
The flavor blends the malty tones together. The hops seem only there for some balance, but actually maintain a nice background. Crisp malty aftertaste with the same sort of finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a great sessionability about it. ABV felt right. Nice smoothness.
Overall, as an English Bitter it works and keeps the \"soapiness\" under control.

On Tap at the Boise BP Clear redish amber witha fine lasting off-white head. Faint woody malt aroma. Flavoris bitter but not in a hoppy way. Typical ESP bitterness, woody and astringent. Some hop bite at the end but pure IBU not much hop flavor. A "bitter" for sure
