22 ounce bottle into pint glass, no bottle dating but this should be pretty fresh. Pours lightly hazy golden amber color with a nice 2 finger dense off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts the whole glass. Nice thick spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of orange zest, lemon zest, herbal, floral, caramel, biscuit, nuttiness, grass, and light pine. Very nice and well balanced aromas with good strength and complexity. Taste of orange zest, lemon, herbal, floral, biscuit, nuttiness, caramel, light pine, and grass. Fair amount of bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus zest, herbal, floral, biscuit, pine, and grass on the finish for a bit. Great balance of flavors with good complexity. Very smooth bitterness/sweetness balance as well, with no cloying flavors after the finish at all. Medium carbonation and body; with a lightly creamy and crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is an absolutely excellent pale ale! Very nicely balanced with good complexity; extremely smooth and crisp to drink. Highly enjoyable offering.

Bottle, 22oz, courtesy of Meilby. A clear, golden beer, topped by a finger-thick off-white head leaving some lacings. Quite hoppy nose, fruityness, pine cones and resins, leaving the maltyness in the far back. The flavor has pine cones and resins up front, a touch of maltyness in the back, and some bitterness all over the place. Soft, full to medium body, dry, and well carbonated. Bitter, citrus peel finish. An easy drinkable beer, quenching and pleasant. 120511

Bottle 1 Beer tasting club - What a great way to start a new bottle club with an APA from this excellent brewer. Poured a hazy golden colour small head, just the right amount of hops for an APA with a complimentary sweet malt backbone.

75cl bottle. Pours golden with steady bubbles and big floating pieces of yeast and a nice layer of lace. The nose is of pine and yoghurt. The taste is savoury cheese and pine. The palate is medium bodied witha tangy middle section and a long drying finish. Overall, I’m disappointed.
