Ebony in color with a rich creamy head. The mellow flavor of oats, chocolate malts, and real chocolate are balanced perfectly with the right amount of hops for a bittersweet finish. Chocolate Stout is brewed with 10 ingredients: Northwest Harrington and Klages, Crystal 135-165 and Beeston Chocolate Malts, Cascade Hops, Rolled Oats and Roasted Barley, Natural Chocolate Flavor, Free Range Coastal Waters and PacMan Yeast.

Bottle, 650 ml, courtesy of Miro B. Shared with him, Max and Vran. Black with beige head. Chocolate, cocoa, sweetish, roasty bitter finish. Medium bodied. Nice easy going stout.

Bomber from Albertsons. Near black pour with small creamy beige head. Rich dark chocolate aroma. Taste adds light bitter roast to the chocolate. Velvety feel.

Bottle, self-imported from USA. Tall brown head, lacy and long lasting, the oats should help with that. Dark roast flavor but with little astringency, just a wallop of hop bitterness, which is honestly a bit much for me. A bit more residual sugar would balance it out. Really noticeable chocolate in the nose & aftertaste. It's like a mocha espresso made with little sugar with dark cacao powder. Highly recommended if that hits your taste!

Keg at MK VHX, 05/01/18. Had this for the first time in the US at Rogue SF taproom circa 2008/9. Catch up rake. Black with a well presented tan head. Nose is chocolate, spice, mellow roast malts, light hop presence, biscuit. Taste comprises chocolate, toffee, molasses, oatmeal choc cookie, light roast, mellow fruit esters. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Solid well balanced stout.

650ml bottle. Pours black. Chocolate, toast, plum, dry spice, a decent bitterness. Too much carbonation. Tasty.

Cana en el Lúpulo Oviedo 25..07.. 2017. (r2556).

Lecker!
