Originally part of our Dark-Light Series, this dark as dusk sour is back. Drenched in juicy local blueberries and deep purple blackberries, we embrace the changing of the seasons and the moments the darker days bring with them; self reflection, deep conversation, and crackling fires.

Bottle from the brewery. Aroma is good subtle juicy fruit notes but not too sweet. Has a nice dark purple body and a fair amount of pink foam. Flavour is good juiciness and the alcohol is very well hidden; there's no complexity though, missing a layering element that would make it more interesting. Mouthfeel is good, full, not watery. This is a nice sour, some elements could be amped up to make it really interesting.

Draught at Darby's Gastown, Vancouver
Murky dark red-amber color, small pinkish head. Delicate aroma of blueberries. Moderately sweet, flavor of blackberry and elderberry juice, wine, moderately tart, with astringent final; it doesn't even feel like a 10% beer.
Very good.

Purple. No head. On the nose there’s some berry, with a touch of tartness. On the palate, nice sweetness and good berry character. Ok

On tap at Farmhouse Fest, pours a cloudy dark pink with a tiny head. Aroma brings out fresh dark berries and a touch of tartness. Flavour is along the same lines, with fresh blueberries, raspberries and light wild yeast. Very fruity and exceptionally hides the high ABV. Very good.
