Appearance is quite a dark amber, with a solid thick off-white head. Aroma- caramel malt, toffee, toast, raisin hints. Taste- bitter hops, earthy malt, dark fruit undertones, forest floor, orange, hints of plum and blackcurrant. Fluffy mouthfeel, bitter finish.

Brilliant white rocky head stayed well on a hazy dark orange coloured body. Minimalist hoppy aroma. Medium body. Sharp & dry on the palate. Very cloying. Bitter pith tastes of citrus, grapefruit, orange & hops. Typical English IPA - but I’m enjoying this one.

Flaske 500ml fra Alko Kolari. Fortært på rom 311, Saltfjellet turiststasjon 19 Jun 15. Gyldenbrun. Middels høyt kremaktig skum som daler sakte. Svakt uklar. Forsiktig fruktaroma. Plommer. Smaken svakt søtlig frukt. Blir litt tørr etter hvert. Avslutter veldig tørt & bittert. En del bunnfall. Uklar siste kvelling. KI=4.

50cl bottle at Viking XPRS in Finnish waters. Pours hazy golden brown with off-white head. Fairly fruity and somewhat malty with notes of canned peaches, hints of citrus, grass and herbs. Medium to moderate sweet with with a certain bitterness. Feels a bit messy, not to interesting, but still fairly drinkable.

(Bottle, 0.5 l - BBE Aug 2015, at Viking XPRS, 20150926) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had herbalness, grass and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were herbalness, fruitiness, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A too herbal brew for my taste. Not bad.
