Cask @ Closed Shop, Sheffield [210314] [From memory as notes lost]
Black, thin beige head. Burnt roast in the aroma and taste, some dark fruit flavour but mainly burnt roast. Thin mouthfeel, Nowhere near as good as the Vanilla Porter tried on the same night.

Bottle at Nelson’s Wine Bar, Hebden Bridge, named after the Stoodley Pike Napoleonic wars memorial high in the hills of the Calder Valley. Black with a head that disappears fast. Clearly a stout in nose and texture but it has a fair sweetness running through it.
