Bottled. Deep ambery brown, close to black colour, with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is chocolate, some ripe fruits, a bit coffee along with some toasted malts and a bit ashy notes. Flavour is liquorice, chocolate, ripe fruits, liquorice, some slight ashes as well as some nice bitterness to it as well. Balanced, and actually has a mouthfeel that feels bigger than the 4.8 %.

Brunsvart med beige skum. Lukter kaffe, vanilje og litt kakao. Noe tynn, og smaker sødme og er noe bitter i ettersmak. Litt flat med lite kullsyre.

Bottle. A clear looking dark brown beer topped by a minimal-sized off-white head. It’s lightly roasted on the nose, with some dms and hints of coffee. The flavor has a decent bitterness in the end, with the same roasted malts, dms and coffee found in the aroma. Medium body, dry on the palate. Quite acidic in the finish. Overall, a decent one, but it’s a kind of stout that doesn’t suit my palate very well. 130405

Smak och doft av malt, choklad, kakao, laktris med rostade toner. Krämig, lätt kropp, tydlig beska. Riktigt fin stout.

Bottle, Systembolaget. Clear dark brown with a tan head. Aroma and taste of light roasted malt, coffee, some notes of hops, ash and chocolate. The body was light. Soft and easy to drink. An ok beer.
