Bottle from Olbutikken. Pours hazy orange with a shortlasting yellowish head. Smells hoppys and spicy. Lots of citrus (oranges and pineapple) gives a little sour taste. A lot more interesting and complex than your average IPA/IIPA would have been with the same amount of hops.

Bottle shared by someone at the BA Decadence tasting line. Pours with a hazy brown body and a fluffy bone colored head. Aroma of raisins, wheat esters, caramel and butterscotch with a few rotten fruits. Taste is honey, wheat, caramel and raisins. Syrupy mouthfeel, light bubbles.

75cl (about) from Kihoskh red orange with a thick yellow head. very strong nice swet hoppy aroma unfortunately also some weird eggy faint thing. flavor is sweet, hoppy, alc. oatmeal. flavor is a bit too much alc. imo.

Beautiful red-amber color; medium head, creamy. Very nice aroma, with caramel, American hop, lightly nutty, a bit creamy. Good body strength, with the expected strong caramel flavor, the required sugars, strong bitterness, with some resins; digging (with oxidation and food), there is some fruit too; the final is stiill balanced (still some caramel and sugars), with a touch of roasted nuts; the body gets thinner at the end, this is a bit disappointing, and then maybe there is a trace of wheat. A good American Strong Ale, not impressive, not sweet enough to be a barley Wine, but still pleasant.
Side remark: I paid for this bottle more than the double compared to other beers in similar conditions (strong American beers, good but not exceptional, imported in Sweden); is it worth paying the double? No!
I start being annoyed by this craze with prices by some brewery!

Bottle that came courtesy of Reluctant Scooper and Beer Merchants following a competition I entered, consumed 14-02-09 Many thanks to Simon (Haddonsman) and Phil L Pours dark cherry juice coloured, in fact I was really quite surprised by the colour of this beer expecting it to be much darker. The initial taste that I get is a sort of liquid toffee, caramel taste. There are fresh hops bouncing around the mouth and barley sugar sweets and a bitterness does show. Overall I didn’t mind this but I think I found it a bit muddled and not as satisfying as I expected. A6 A4 F7 P4 OV13 3.4

Bottle, 22oz. A clear, copper beer with a medium sized beige head. Lovely hops in the aroma, giving fluorine, pinecones and resin as well as a fruity touch. Not very malty. Hop-driven flavor with pinecones, a fine bitterness, malty sweetness and beefstock. Full-bodied and warming, but the alcohol isn’t much evident flavorwise or in the aroma. Lasting maltysweet, almost sugary finish with a lovely bitterness. Just f...ing lovely. Amazing. (081031)

[660 ml bottle from Systembolaget] Sweet aroma with rasins but there is a little bit too much alcohol. The colour is light amber and there is a nice foam. The flavour is nice sweet and bitter, with flavour of rasin and hops ,but no wheat. Sadly, it’s a bit over prized. 229 Swedish krona (aprox. 22€) is too much.

Bottled: Pours clear amber/orange with a firm head. Aroma is sweet with notes of hops and toffee. Flavour is sweet and has notes of hops, raisins and a little bit of liquorice. Finish is long and really bitter. Where’s the wheat? There’s no doubt that this is a really good beer but it tastes a lot like Sierra Nevada Bigfoot or Old Foghorn and they’re easier to find and much cheaper in price (at least here in Sweden) so why bother buying this?
