Säuerlich frischer Beginn, angenehme und starke natürliche Apfelnoten. Milde Herbe, zum Ende milder werdend. Süffig, gut. 11/11/11/11//11

Draft @ ‘t Schooltje, merci Carlo. Dorée légèrement opaque-foin, col blanc disparaissant vite. Arôme de pomme, pointe de barrique donnant un place agréable au bourbon. Bouquet rétro-nasal de pomme acidulées et fraiches. Palais, ici un cidre agréable alternant entre pommes acidulées et un bourbon qui fini par éclater en bouche sans pour cela couvrir le tout. Ce dernier ajoute une note subtile de vanille en toute fin de bouche. L’ajout de pommes entières se ressent, note le côté granuleux-sec de la peau et un léger fini allant vers un sucre caramélisé. Dommage pas de bouteilles, ça irait très bien avec un repas de crêpes.

Draught @ 4th Borefts Beer Festival 2012, Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands.Light unclear medium yellow orange colour with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy apple, barrel, wood, tart wood and apples, bourbon - vanilla notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate acidic with a long duration. Quit nice - well made ;-) Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft. [20120929]

Tap at Het Oude Schooltje, Oostvleteren - 20/10/12. Carlo who was serving in the tasting room spelt this out to me as ’Pombon’ .Other web searches also reveal the name being spelt this way. Lightly hazed amber with a frothy off white head. Nose of sour apples, a little piss, dry ripe fruit, light caramel, touch of wood. Tastes of apples, hops, light booze and a little earthy woodiness. Full end of medium bodied with a dry finish.

Boreft Beer Festival 2012. Hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of red apples, funk and a touch of wood. Dry and funky flavour with oak, some tannin, and a boozy touch of whisky or rum.

Draught@SBWF2012. Yellowish golden hazy colour with a small white head. Aroma is rather dry apples, mild alcohol, vanilla, grass and some slight yeasty notes. Flavour is very similar in a nice balance. Quite mouthdrying.

Draught at Stockholm Beer and Whiskey Festival. Almost clear, yellow liquid with small white head. Aroma of apples, oak, lemons, funk, vanilla and coconut. Taste is dry and light to medium sour with notes of apple, oak and vanilla. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Great stuff!

Pours clear yellow with a tiny head. Aroma of vanilla, bourbon, fruits and tartness. Taste is fruity and tart with notes of oaky vanilla. Finish is slick and slightly tart. Nice, tasty barrel aged cider.
