This Imperial IPA embodies the spirit of the Northwest combined with intense passion fruit and tropical aromas to break the grasp of winter with every sip. We took hops from the PNW and Southern Hemisphere and tossed them in the ring for a tag-team battle of fruit dominating supremacy that tastes like peach, apricot, and tangerine glory.

Bomber from Whole Foods. Pours a clear orange color with a medium white head. A big citrus resin orange nose. Very slick oranges, resin, lemon, mild bitterness, candied sweetness. Quite smooth. Pretty solid old school IPA.

Bottle from Elizabeth Station, Bellingham, WA; 8.3% ABV
Hazy golden to light amber color. Nice aroma, quite original, cereals, soup, orangey hops. Lean mouthfeel, just moderate amount of sugars; bready and grainy malts, but not sticky, and easily overwhelmed by the extreme resiny hops.
Between old school and modern, the result is very good.

Bottle from WinCo. Deep glowing golden body. Thick lasting head. Initial aroma of citrus and then hops. Taste follows with more citrus, drier, tarter varieties, small hops bite. Enough of a malt backbone to hold it all together.

On tap at Bailey's, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is a strange hop mix, with herbal dank hoppiness. Flavour is very dank and herbal, with pronounced herbal hops. Quite sharp and abrasive. Not exactly harmonious or easy on the palate, but it's decent.
