This is the second straight bottle of Jolly Pumpkin that I’ve gotten from Whole Foods - Bowery in a month that is a NASTY VINEGARY MESS.
Aroma was stank, beer used to be good but is now stanker. I don’t know what they did to their jolly pumpkins, but they killed them.

750ml bottle at Dieu Du Ciel.
Cloudy brown color. Nose of cherries, yeast, some slight floral aromas, and a good amount of sour funk.
The flavour is sour, and funky, and the chrries really come through, its very much like a good malty sour cherry, very interesting, but extremely drinkable!

Stemless glassware @Sideways in Dallas. $5 clearance pours! Very deep mahogany brown, almost still pour. Mainly a lemon & black tea, slightly herbal nose. Sour fruit, saison feels. Cherry, apricot, coffee fruit, black tea & accompanying astringency, lemon tart, bittersweet apple, cola sweetness. Moderate oxidation through all of this. Special kegs tend to sleep around here till they're a second too old. Super easy, dead low carb, bit of yeasty body, hot feels. Great. Even better if it wasn't old.

Bottle vintage 2013, thank you Dino. Amber with orange highlight, bright...the foam is compact and ivory. Nose: balsamic, cocoa, much bitter orange, tannins, spices. Mouth: it feels like an Orval with some red orange in and hints of cocoa. Terrific brew. Thank you Dino.
Pudel, mis on vähemalt aastakse eidžinud koha letil... Hapu, puuviljane, marjane, vaadine, natuke funky, natuke alkone, kuiv, tanniinid, õrn kakao. Täitsa hea, pole liiga äädikas ega väga happeline, samas kahjuks ka mitte väga kompeksne.

Tap @ Mikkeller and Friends, Copenhagen. Pours dark brown with a big slightly offwhite head. Aromas of yeasty, malty, dark fruits, light acidic, spicy, chocolate, citrussy. Taste is tart, vinegary (what?), funky, red berries, malty, dark fruits, spicy, chocolate. Not sure what’s going on here. Not bad though.

Keg at BrewDog Tower Hill. Described as a Sour which I didn't question. Fruity vinous aroma with some spice. Opaque blood orange in colour. Bubbly white head is on the thin side. Light-medium sour with a bitter edge. But it's the dry palate that makes the most impact for me. Like a very dry light red wine. Thin. Light. Flat carbonation. The finish is abrupt other than the lingering dryness. It's interesting if ethereal.
