Hazy light brown. Sweet up front, cherryish sourness, has a mellow barrel note, brown sugar, has a nice subtlety to it.

On tap at St. Augustines on Rare Beer Tap Takeover. Fruity, spices aroma and taste with hippy bitterness. Like a hybrid of Flemish, Saison and Sour Ale. Pleasant.

9th July 2016: on-tap in the NaparBCN Brewpub with the RBESG guys. Another American beer a long way from home, found in Barcelona. Off-white head on an autumnal orange body. Fruity nose with sour pointers, taste had a bit of spiciness within the semi-sour fruity flavours. Liked it.

Tap during RBESG16. Hazy reddish light brown. Plastic, sour overripe fruit, glue, bitter leaves and spices. Under medium sour and bitter, light sweet. Medium bodied. 3.2 Update: Tap at Jolly Pumpkin Detroit. Still a bit of weird plastic spices, cinnamon, lemon. It seems better now, but still the spices and sourness don’t really mix.

0.75l bottle shared @ Inbreak. Quite a dark cloudy one this, deep dark orange colored with him a nice lacing small off-white head in the top. Interesting noce. Lots of dandelion and quite a nice sweetness. Hints of cocoa and chocolate combined with the woody arch typical Jolly aroma. Orange vinegar and marmalade. Lots of marmalade. Smells quite nice this. Milder in the taste, but really refreshing. Thin oily in the mouth and it's really prickling on the allow average carbonation level. Bitterish also, dandelion and quick finish. Quite good. 30.03.2015

Tap@Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen - dark sienna red to brown pour with off white head. Expecting a sweet rather than the sour malty backing (being a Belgian ale) but works for me, some dried fruit, caramel, some spices going, cinnamon prominently, quite tart in the finish, interesting brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Shared 25.4 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy amber/brown with an off-white head. Aroma is fruit, earth, spice, and yeast. Taste is sour fruits, orange, spice, funk, earth, and yeast. It’s not really a brown ale, nor is it a Belgian strong ale. I’d say it’s almost more like a watered-down sour red/brown, but with some citrus, and not nearly as tart - though it does indeed have some tartness. Interesting - not one of my favorites - but decent.

Ölföreningen 2015. Flaska, 2011 vintage. Smak och doft av humle, malt, karamell, apelsin, nyans av romerska bågar och kanel, ekträ och kryddor. Stor kropp och sötma, viss syrlighet, fin beska.

Cloudy, deep amber colored, medium creamy beige head. Aroma is of overripe fruits, tart, strong Brett, some orange notes and caramel, light cocoa. Taste is tart fruits, some orange, spicy, candy caramel, medium+ strong wild funkiness and sour, some cocoa but mostly in finish and aftertaste, medium- bitterness, dry. Medium bodied, lively carbonation. Brett conquers all, cacao notes almost don’t get through at all...
