Bottle. Hazy amber liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma of dried fruit, spices, pears, vinegar and bread. Taste is light sweet and light to medium sour with notes of dried fruit, light vinegar and pears. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Pretty good. Nicely balanced.

Bottled 750ml. -from Hoppiness Koper. Murky amber/brown coloured, huge beige head, pleasant fruity alcoholic nose. Sourish fruity, light spicy, mild chocolate and cinnamon with slight acidic finish. Also some discreet presence of alcohol. Cocoa...not sure about it but never mind, in any case this is decent brew.

Enormous thanks to Ogivlado for bringing this from Slovenia! Poured a dark ambery red body (definitely not brown) with a huge, lovely off white head that stayed there for a long, long time. Pungent, full on Bretty, funky, yet sweetish aroma, grapes. Slightly mild, dry taste with some tartness, perfumey, Bretty, ending dry, perhaps cocoa like (in the aftertaste too), though I’m not 100% sure I’d name it that way if I hadn’t read the bottle. Peppers, nutmeg, cloves.... Interesting, tasty, complex. Well done JP!

Cocoa- and cinnamon-flavoured specialty beer with thick, yellowish, moussy head and clear copper to bronze colour with tiny yeast particles floating around. Powerful sweet-sourish aroma closer to an oud bruin than to an abbey or trappist ale, impressions of sweet sherry, marmelade, chocolate liqueur, spiced wine, cinnamon, candied figues, orange peel, wine vinegar, ketchup, walnuts. Fruity and sourish onset reminiscent of apple and lemon, nutty malts, vivid spicy accents, bittering towards the end and finishing complex, spicy, resinous, hoppy, dry and warming alcoholic. Too sourish, I guess from an infection by lactic bacteria, but this did make it more Flemish sour-like, which is not necessarily a bad thing.

Ok. Pours brown. Typical Jolly Pumpkin yeast. Like a brown with the bretta. Pours brown without much head or lacing. Tap at BRU.
