Exciting and provocative, India Pale Ale provides a stimulating assault on all senses. Our version of the IPA style possesses a deep golden hue that nearly winks at you from the glass. Extremely full-bodied, its rich flavor wraps your tongue in a lush blanket of sweet malt with a spicy hop finish. Two hop varieties in the Dry Hopping provide an enticing floral bouquet, with notes of resin and herbs, creating a delightfully quaffable and refreshing ale we’re sure you’ll love!

Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear deep golden, brief head. Intense lychee aroma. Mid sweet with solid body and clean, rouinded mouthfeel. Salty mango, perfumy with loads of tropical fruits and some syrup. Really bitter finish.

From a 650ml bottle on 6/8/2012. Pours a fairly clear dark golden with a smallish head. Has a lovely hoppy aroma, with citrus fruit, pine and caramel all prominent. In the mouth, this is a real hop monster. The bitterness is extreme, with a huge, dry, lingering resiny, grapefruity finish. The malt is way in the background, with a touch of caramel evident, along with some subdued orange marmalade sweetness. A really full on IPA, which is just a shade too unbalanced to really hit the bullseye (could use a touch more sweetness imo).

Draught @ the brewpub. Rated on 21.07.2012
Aroma has fruity hops, some mandarin and hints of resin. Flavour is rather strong on fruity hops and resin. Good, not too sweet.

Draught. Orangish pour with thick white head, much lacing. Pleasant aroma that I call soapy, tho’ it is nothing like actual soap, mix of citrus and tree. Full bodied, sprucy and piney with citrus. Hoppy without being overwhelming. Longlasting hop finish

Pours amber with a large head.Nose shows piney hops, along with peach and floral notes. Underneath is biscuit-like malt and caramel.Very hop-focussed flavours, lots of resinous pine and a massive sharp bitterness. Not much malt.Slightly overcarbed.

Bomber pours brilliantly clear copper with solid half inch plank of tan head. The aroma tosses up spicy hops and surprisingly bitter smelling floral hops too. Underneath the hops I only get a sense of sweetness that is likely maltiness. The taste enters smooth crisp with hops and full bodied. I get a pleasing mix of spicy hops and floral hop bitterness where the flavor is leaning heavily on the bitter side. I think this is the most bitter floral hop type brew I’ve ever tried. I also get some pine resin and grassiness with faint yummy maltiness as well off in the background. Cool bitter brew that is scratching me right where I itch.

22 oz. bottle, split with Matts_Property, pours a cloudy golden with a white head. Aroma of rich piney hops, some tropical fruits and some caramel. Flavour of rich piney, buttery hops, with barely enough caramel malt backing. Lingering bitter, piney finish. The pine notes are delicious and make this bitter beast highly drinkable. Superb.

Bouteille 22oz.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Colonial Wine and Spirits, 6/20/11
Aroma: The nose is fairly hoppy, lots of citrus notes (orange and grapefruit), pine, and resin
Appearance: This one pours a clear orange color with a frothy white head and a lot lace
Flavor: The taste is fairly sweet with some grass and grapefruit hops, it has a lightly mineral finish
Palate: The body is rather creamy, medium-full, somewhat sticky, with a fiarly dry, tingly mouthfeel
Overall Impression: Overall, this is a very solid West Coast style IPA. It isn't spectacular, but I liked it, a very solid example of the style. This one just worked pretty well.
