Draft at the brewpub. Clear reddish-amber, beige head, coating lace. Herbal hops, overripe fruit, caramel, and a little pine. Dry close. Fairly bitter. Strong. Okay, but feels like a little less ABV would improve it overall.

Dark amber color. The aroma is weird, the vegetable notes are too strong, more than the hops. Good body strength, caramel base, a bit earthy, and expected bitterness level, but the darker malts mute the hop qualities, if any.

Bottle - Sweet caramel, woody and amber malts. Weird overripe tropical fruit. Cloudy Amber with a decent beige head. Sweet malts and tropical fruits with a light finish. Odd but decent.

22 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma is bizarre, with earthy, dental clinic notes, and subdued dry hopping. Flavour is better but still bizarre, with earthy hops upfront, toasted bready malt, and light residual toasted caramel sweetness. Tastes a lot better than it smells.
