Draught at 12 Kings, Vancouver
Hazy amber color with medium sized head. The aroma is a bit smelly, rancid, buttery. Light colored caramel and toffee flavor, some butter mixed with citrus peel from the hops, some bitter orange in the final.
Not a bad recipe, not a Double IPA either, and flawed.

Draft - Light caramel and decent hop notes. Clear gold with a decent white head. Bitter and sweet spcaramel notes with a decent but sweet finish. OK.

On tap at 12 Kings, pours a hazy golden amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out tons of butter - uh oh. Flavour confirms this, with juicy citrus, chewy caramel, and butter. Not an intense infection, but it throws it off a bit. Not sure why they call this is a double IPA at this gravity. Okay.
