A brown ale brewed with Baja and black peppers and fermented with Red Collar’s proprietary Belgian yeast. A perfect fall beer - crisp and spicy.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Unclean amber color. Smells like wet cardboard and stale water. Dry mouthfeel, stale bread flavor, with enough bitterness to be called beer, but a bad one.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a dark red with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted biscuity malt upfront, no real hint of the Belgian yeast. Flavour is similar, with bone dry biscuity and bready malt dominating. Doesn't seem like a Belgian at all. Inoffensive, but very boring and off the mark.
