Cucumber and light lime. Cucumber actually mellows out the gose vibe here. Golden pour with decent head. Tanty finish. I wouldn't say its great but better than many boring goses. Bottle.

500mL capped bottle. Seems the date has rubbed off. Its a gusher after popping the cap. Obviously, pours with a big and bubbly head. That head fades quickly and loudly. Its a very pale straw color with light slickness. Can see through it. The aroma is more like something you smell in a tasty hand cream or super fancy spa. So much light and airy cucumber. I guess with some Canadian beers you have to list all the ingredients, like this. Well, it says cucumber juice as an ingredient. Now, I have lived a long time and I have never seen cucumber juice in my life. And I love cucumber everything. So, not sure what exactly is cucumber juice but there is a lot in this beer. May explain the 4% abv. Lime... maybe but its mostly cucumber. It really is cucumber perfume. Kind of a sweet cucumber. Light tartness rounding it off. Flavor is more of a sweet airy cucumber. A little sweet tart finish and a sparkling carbonation yet feels a bit full. Look, its shit unless you love cuke and cuke beers. Bottom of the bottle is not filtered.

This beer is a slightly hazy pale straw color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to a film. Short strings of lace. Fresh cucumber aroma with some citrus and yeast. Light-bodied with flavors of cucumber, lime and wheat. The finish is mildly tart with a cucumber and lime aftertaste. Decent overall.

Pours a clean light yellow colour at first, but gets hazy by the end. Fizzy white cap with a little more stay than expected. Not completely filtered with very tiny particles through it. Some bubbles on top. Fresh cucumber juices with the peel for aromas. The taste is where the sourness appears, but not too crazy - tamed by the cucumber juice. The salt is quite mild in there with the lime flavours. Mostly felt in the aftertaste. Smell balance out in the end with everything else. I must say this is very well-done for lots of different ingredients. Very refreshing.

Bottle: Poured a pale yellow color ale with a nice white foamy head with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of cucumber and lime with light tart notes is quite refreshing. Taste is a refreshing mix of cucumber with some light tart notes with some clearly distinctable lime notes. Body is light with good carbonation. Super good mix of cucumber notes for a refreshing beer.

Pours blonde with active carbonation resulting in some lasting dense white head. Surprising amount of cucumber nose, with a hint of that lime, and hay malt. Taste has that salty pinch, mixed with strong cucumber right up front, followed by the lime tang. Good balance with the salt here, much better that NB’s friends Collective Arts’ recent gose, but that cucumber is a bit heavier that I’d like.

Bottle from the LCBO. Slightly hazy pale yellow under a tiny very short lived white head. Nose is mostly cucumber, moderate wheat and salt, and light lime and lemon notes. Flavour is a light sweetness and a moderate melon and citrus tartness as well as a good dose of salt. The cucumber provides a light+ bitterness. Mouth is medium- with prickly carbonation and a tart finish. Interesting, but probably not interesting enough to make it a regular purchase. 8-/3/7/3+/14

Update - Bottle - bitter and acidic cucumber. Little more restrained and more pickled notes. Not as bad as the first time. Bottle - Bitter cucumber skin and lime. Clear gold with almost no head. Lime and cucumber hit you up front with some acidity. This is not pleasant, the cucumber is bitter and the citrus overwhelming. Too much subtle flavors gone awry.
