Why a stout in 25 degree heat? Why not! Frankenstout is a rich and creamy Session Stout which is surprisingly easy drinking. Notes of black licorice and fine Italian espresso are hidden behind a roasty forward and a smooth, dry finish.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of roast and coffee, with notes of brown sugar and touches of yeast. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of hops and coffee and sweetish, malty touches. Estery and roasty aftertaste. A very decent session Stout.
