To the point. We love Centennial hops! We got our hands on a bunch this fresh hop season grown locally by our friends at Chilliwack Hop Farms. This Single Malt, Single Fresh Hop North West Pale Ale is a showcase to feature this special friend.

Draft - Perfume and grapefruit notes. Clear gold with a decent white head. Bitter citrus and more perfume with a long bitter finish. Lots of soap and perfume.

Draught at the brewery
Amber color, clean, small head. Lean and elegant mouthfeel, with delicate biscuity malts, light residual sweetness, and the hopping delivers a fair amount of piney resins and citrus peel; almolst zesty in the final also; without vegetable notes, even not too bitter. Harmonious beer, yet with character.
Clean, very well made, and very easy to drink.

On tap at 33 Acres, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out a slightly spicy hop character with a dry biscuity malt base. Flavour is along the same lines, with a pronounced spicy hop character, with a touch of floral notes, and a dry biscuity malt base. Unusual spiciness from the Centennial - makes me wonder if this was achieved some other way. All in all, clean and vibrant. Solid.
