Bottle from a trade with jingledell. Pours dark brown/black color with tan head. Aromas of coffee, chocolate, vanilla and roasted malt. Similar flavors that work well together. Medium to full body with moderate carbonation. Thanks Chris.

22oz bomber. Brown black body, some translucent edges, the beige head that fades out pretty quick. You certainly get the added vanilla...it gives it a very sweet, sugary feel. A pretty good adjunct Imperial Stout....sort of like a Southern Tier beer but more centered around the additional flavors. As the bottle says, this is a Latte Stout. Tasty, but not really a beer I want to drink the whole bottle of. The vanilla-chocolate-coffee combination is massive, and there is some depth in that regard. Pretty mellow on the palate for 10.5%. Should lose points for the FIBalicious office white boy art, but I’ll try and forgive them for that.

Bomber, from the Bier Koning, @ home. Batch # 113 (brewed ( April 2013). Very dark brown (not quite black) color. Brown head, quickly receding. Aroma’s of ground coffee, heavy roasted malts, mocha, sweet, some red fruit. Flavor is rather sweet, sticky toffee, dried fruits. Medium bodied. Finish is roast, somewhat ashy, hardly any bitterness.

Sample from batch #112 at Kurtkeller 004: Pipeworks-tastic 01 on 01/18/2014. Inky black pour with a medium khaki head that diminishes gradually. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Coffee, roasted malt and dark chocolate in the nose. Full-bodied with flavors of roast coffee, semi-bitter chocolate and caramel. The finish is roasty with a coffee aftertaste. Good beer all around.

dark brown. lots of coffee and vanilla. Taste is okay but very peppery, like duct tape and very bad coffee. seriously, having all 4 abductions side by side, what in the heck, guys? Why are these so bad?

Botella de 65 cl en el Lupulo. Septiembre de 2013. Alucinante birra con gran sabor a tostados y café y más café, con un cuerpo fuerte y denso. Una gran imperial stout. Imprescindible repetir de nuevo.

Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Opaque dark brown beer with a decent pale tan head. Palate is slightly viscous and a little soft. Smooth dark malt and dark malt cream well integrated with smooth coffee and a touch of dark fruits. Smooth finish. Good stuff from this very good brewer.
