Bottle shared at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Hazy deep red-amber. Aroma of malt, caramel, smoked meat, smoked wood and nutty hints. Great sweet flavor, malty, caramelly and smoky with light fruity notes, a hint of chocolate and a finish with faint bitterness, slightly ashy. Medium-bodied. Very nice stuff.

Strong tasting smoke beer with rauchmalt from Bamberg. Sharp smoke taste with a bitter undertone of hop. Very good.

Dobre i pachnace dymem piwo wedzone. Ciemne, dymne i smaczne, dosc tresciwe. Ale inny maja jednak harakter piwa z Bamberga, bardziej mi odpowiadaja. Tu byla wieksza slodowosc. Ale i tak doba rzecz.

330 ml bottle from bhensonb. Nose is lightly smoked bacon and a sweet caramel. Hazy light brown with a small beige head. Flavor is somewhat sweet, lightly smoky, and some caramel malt.

Bottle. Distinct smoke aroma. Cloudy brown colour. Small white head. The flavour is clean and smokey with a good sweetish malt base. Reminds me of Schlenkerla, which is good.

Bottle. Pours light hazy amber, with a creamy, slightly coloured head. Aroma is roasted malts, and not too much more. Flavour is burned malts, grain and molasses, with smoke and dark fruits in the finish. Easy and drinkable, but a bit disappointing for a rauch.
