The lager of the stout, not bad but there are a lack of aromas, watery and a bit boring, few roasted malt and hop, drinkable, 27.12.17

Good stout, makes a pleasant change from Guinness. Couple of pints in The Murrayfield, Edinburgh.

On tap at The Skeff, Galway. Dark, medium lasting tan head. Aroma is lightly to moderately roasty, hint of coffee, got of green pepper and caraway. Flavour is toasty, burnt and spicy. Soft, smooth, light, minimal bitterness, slightly bland.

Haven't seen his in the UK for years. Picked up at Tesco Danestone. It pours jet black with a thick, creamy khaki head. The aroma is soft, smooth, creamy, rich roasted malt, coffee beans, touch of milk chocolate and praline. The taste is smooth, rich roasted malt, toasty grains, burnt toast, coffee grounds, mild acidity, cacao, ashy, charred and peppery spice with a dark roasted finale. Average body, velvety carbonation and creamy mouth feel. Drinkers very easily. Decent macro Irish Stout, there is certainly a lot worse out there.

Aromas are roast, cocoa, dark malt, with a little raisins and a hint of molasses. Flavors are similar to nose. A touch sweet. A little chalky. Super smooth and ultra drinkable. Very nice.
