Pint can dated best by 2/20/20 so assumed ~ 7 months old A: Turned up vertically into the glass it gave the beautiful cascade of carbonation from the widget. Dirty dark black/brown color. S: Light scent of bitter and sweet chocolate and faint coffee. T: Very watery taste finally presents some slightly sweet grain with light roast and bitterness. Bitter chocolate and cigarette butt aftertaste. M: Very thin as expected for the ABV but with the also expected soft creamy texture. O: You don't expect a lot at 4% ABV but this is lacking in flavor and body.

tasted in the Irish pub in Oldenzaal (NL). Thick creamy head that lasts. Stout sells slowly there, so the beer tends to gain a little sourness. It tasted good enough, but cannot be compared with Guinness and Beamish.

Draught, pint. Tasted several times at different places. 18/08/2019. Black colour with a creamy tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, licorice and soft chocolate. Smooth palate with presence of roasted malts and soft dried fruits. Creamy. Next one please!

Pours black with a thickly nitrogenated fine head. Aroma of dark toasted malt. Taste has creamy mouthfeel with bitter roasted elements. Roasted nut on the palate as well as a slight hop bite that grows as the mouth settles. Standard stout.

Backlog 2019. Tap poured into a pint glass @pub Tralee. Pitch black, good lasting creamy tan head, fine lacing. Aroma roasted malts, cocoa, coffee. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, roast, chocolate, earthy notes. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, dry sweetbitter aftertaste, very nice.

Can pour into tulip glass from Total Wine & More, Burlington. Appearance is clear, almost opaque black--very dark brown/ruby with light source directly behind--initial 5-finger(!) width beautiful cascading nitro head settling to 2-finger creamy white/light brown pillow with persistent retention but no lacing. Aroma is lightly bitter roasted malts and earthy minerals, with notes of dark chocolate and coffee. Taste is bittersweet lightly roasted malt with earth, crescent-roll biscuit and notes of chocolate and coffee like aroma. Palate is medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, gorgeous pour and competent attributes of a dry, Irish stout. Maybe not the biggest wow factor for a style, but done well.
