A heavily hopped beer brewed using home-baked malt. Triporteur From Heaven is the modern version of traditional hopped ale. It is a heavenly beer brewed with home-baked BOM malt. The wheat malt in the unfiltered beer can produce a light cloudiness. The taste of Heaven remains evolving in the bottle.

The From Heaven was the first real Triporteur we brewed. Before this beer brewed an In Heaven, but this beer was only created as an try-out. The Hell was already developed when the from Heaven came on the market. This is shown by the devil who is already in the background of the label. He is running to show his beer to the baker. The recipe of this beer didn’t changed since the startup. We wanted to brew a modern version of a Belgian Blond beer. In Belgium we use the word blond for a beer what is light colored, it doesn’t matter what kind of style it really is. So it is blond, but the style? Did you know we are using an angel on the label when we use baked malt?

Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a small, off-white head. The aroma is fruity, in a Belgian style, with grass and a herbal touch. Popcorn hints, not diacetyl though. It’s quite dry on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level. Pale malts, orange notes and herbs. Pleasant bitterness. Overall, sure drinkable, but rather boring. 150328

Bottle from Kiya. Tart, slightly acidic nose, some bread and honey, grapefruit. I would guess that the beer has soured unintentionally a bit, though that does work kind of well with the hops. Tart grapefruit flavor, light malt, bit of honey. Ok blonde.

Bottle, 6.2%. Slow gusher. Mild spicy aroma, hint of yeast. Cloudy dark golden colour. Big stable creamy white head. The flavour starts off with a rough ashy note. Then comes a little hay, pale malt, yeast, clove. Does not taste very hoppy to me.

Bottle. Pours hazy amber with airy, rocky off-white head. Cleara roma of fruit, malt and yeast, with notes of hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour with sweetish notes of malt and fruit and touches of yeast. Hints of citrus. Bittersweet and slightly fruity aftertaste. Not bad.
