A heavily hopped beer brewed using home-baked malt. Triporteur From Heaven is the modern version of traditional hopped ale. It is a heavenly beer brewed with home-baked BOM malt. The wheat malt in the unfiltered beer can produce a light cloudiness. The taste of Heaven remains evolving in the bottle.
The From Heaven was the first real Triporteur we brewed. Before this beer brewed an In Heaven, but this beer was only created as an try-out. The Hell was already developed when the from Heaven came on the market. This is shown by the devil who is already in the background of the label. He is running to show his beer to the baker. The recipe of this beer didn’t changed since the startup. We wanted to brew a modern version of a Belgian Blond beer. In Belgium we use the word blond for a beer what is light colored, it doesn’t matter what kind of style it really is. So it is blond, but the style? Did you know we are using an angel on the label when we use baked malt?

Bottle: Poured a hazy yellow orange with a huge fluffy white lacing head. Aroma is soapy, hops, and yeast. Taste is a nice hops bitter with a malt and yeast balance. Not to sweet, but there is a presence.

11.2oz bottle. Foams up when you open it, not quite a gusher. Unfiltered orange-tan body. Massive foamy, pillowy off-white head. Bitter, astringent aroma...dry noble hops gone stale and earthy. Not that impressive at all, has some potential infection issues, as it has some woody, leathery brett notes. Has some yeasty depth. Overall, this isn’t that impressive of an offering. Drinkable, worth a tick, but wouldn’t be hyped to try it again.

Kveldens siste flaske delt med Ovesen mens vørteren oksygeneres: højt skum! Klar gylden. Innbydende humlearoma (EKG, Cascade, og Styrian Golding) med en klassisk tilbakelenthet - ingen agressive toner, bare en fløyelsmyk blomstereng. Superb smak med høy gledesfaktor.

Bottle shared with JMD at HNB 28.10.14. Clear golden. White head and lacing. Fine aroma of orange marmelade and white candy sugar. Refeshing taste and mouthfeel, with similar qualities.

Made at Anders but hauling from a Limburg beer company which ’bakes’ its own malt. Firmly hopped with Kent Golding, Cascade, and Styrian Golding, this is basically a blond thirst-quencher with a stable, off-white head and golden colour with greenish hue, hazy. Aroma of pale malts, grapefruit, grass, peach, apple peel, some DMS (cooked cauliflower). Dried fruity taste, mellow and soft mouthfeel, some malt sweetness, quickly overwhelmed by a leafy, grassy, herbal, long-lasting hop bitterness, enough to classify this as an IPA rather than just another ’Belgian ale’. Tasted from tap at the Gents Bierfestival of 2012, it wasn’t quite there yet, but I have a feeling I have to re-taste and re-rate this urgently.

330 ml bottle into tulip glass, M4TRP bottle code. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy bright gold color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon zest, orange peel, apricot, pear, apple, pepper, herbal, grass, cracker, bread, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and earthy hop notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon zest, orange peel, apricot, pear, apple, pepper, herbal, grass, cracker, bread, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Good amount of earthy yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange, apricot, pear, apple, pepper, herbal, grass, cracker, bread, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity and robustness of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and earthy hop flavors; with a great crisp malt/yeast balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly prickly mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice Belgian pale ale! All around great complexity and balance of bright and crisp yeast, malt, and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle, 6.2% gusher. Hazy deep golden with foamy white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, yeast, phenols and spicy. Flavour is malt, yeast, phenols, sweet, spicy, weird and a little bitter.
