A fruity blond beer with an explosion of citrus, resulting from dry-hopping with the American hops breed Cascade. In order to maintain the hoppy aroma as much as possible, the beer isn’t filtered. It is slightly cloudy and has a snow white head. It is served in a robust, accompanying glass. The beer was created in honour of Ter Dolen’s co-founder Armand Desplenter, the father of current director Mieke Desplenter.

11/XI/12 - 75cl bottle from Willems (Grobbendonk) @ Cybu's place - BB: 29/IV/14 (2012-1264)
Clear blond beer, very big creamy white head, very stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: bit dusty, quite some citrus, apricots, little sweet. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: citrus, grassy hops, quite some grains, some alcohol, bit sourish. Aftertaste: citrus, lots of grassy bitter hops, lemon zest. Not bad, but not as good as I had hoped.

draft @ Delirium Brussels.

Slightly hazy, light golden colour, white head. Aroma of hops, sweat, quite floral, vanilla, some citrus. Nicely bitter, light sweet, fresh malty flavour. Bitter, light sweet finish, somewhat thinner than expected. Overall quite nice though.

Good, just off-white head over well-carbonated, hazy orange beer. USA hops commanding the nose, but with a creamy, yeasty undertone; vanilla or crème Anglaise on fruity (grapey) hops. Sweetish aroma. Much more affirmative bitterness in the mouth, even a tad crude, woody, but the finish displays again very fruity, citrussy and creamy notes. Retronasal very clearly rosewater and almondmilk. Well-carbonated but all the same lightly viscous-creamy MF; rather well-bodied. Indeed a quite Belgian interpretation of an IPA/IIPA.

On tap at In de Wildeman. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of Cascade hops, really nice zesty fruity aroma of citrus, grapefruit, some passionfruit. Flavour is light sweet, pale malts, some alcohol, very Tripel-like, flowery, nice citrus flavours, firm citrussy hoppy bitter finish. Medium bodied. A bit one-dimensional, but nice and highly drinkable, a pleasant surprise from this brewery.
