22oz bomber pours with a clear copper body that supports a light tan head to foam. The aroma offers up a bit of malts and then mild grassy, earthy, vaguely citrus like hops. The taste delivers a blend of notes starting with a thin maltiness and then thicker wedges of bitter grapefruit and pine like hoppiness and then bitter floral hops toward midway. It pretty much stays that way right into the finish where grapefruit and pine bitterness hold on well into the after taste. Pretty nice.

Bomber from the grocery store. Aroma is grapefruit, minerals, bready, herbal. Pours slightly hazy orange with a long-sustaining cream-colored head that laces nicely. Taste is highly bitter with flavors of grapefruit rind, pine, herbal tea, and a backing light candy sweetness. Good, but not as impressive as I was led to believe it was going to be.

Bomber from Compton’s Market in Sacramento, CA. Pours copper with a white head. Aroma is moderate citrus over caramel. Med + body. Flavor is citrus, caramel, maybe a touch of floral. It’s very freshish. Very hoppy in a non harsh way. Pretty darn bitter. Sort of classical.
