One of our most refreshing brews, made for those hot summer days, but satisfying year ’round.
Recommended serving temperature 8°C/45°F. Goes well with seafood, particularly oysters.

20/VIII/2012 50cl bottle from Dranken Geers (Oostakker) @ home - Brewed: 5/VIII/11, BB: 5/VIII/14 (2012-958)
Clear orange beer, huge fluffy off-white head, very stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: grassy, hay, pretty fruity as well, peaches, citrus, apples, bit sweet, touch of exotic fruits. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: citrus first, bit of hay, grassy, nice strong hop bitters, some fruity notes, bit exotic. Aftertaste: more citrus, bit of candi sugar, passion fruits, hay, grains, little chemical bitterness in the end, citrus, dry spiciness. Very nice summer beer!

Olympen, Oslo bottle: Pours a cloudy yellow wiht a white head. Aroma is yeast, citrus, and some minor funk. Taste is quite dry. Hops and saison yeast mild funk make up the bulk of it. This is certainly refreshing and has a good body. However, this is not one of the top saisons in my book.

Keg at Euston Tap, London. A hazy golden coloured pour with a healthy white head on top. Sweet Belgian yeasty aroma. Tastes slightly sweet, fruity, spice, yeasty, quite Belgian. Pleasing stuff.

Hazy orange colour with an off white head. Aroma and flavour differs sometimes with each batch. Normaly a fruity and light sweet wheat aroma. Moderate sweet flavour. Some spices. Moderate hoppy. Light fruity.

From notes: Bottled @ Beer Temple. Orange color. Aroma is caramel, sweet/sour fruit (lemon, citrus). Flavor is sweet & sour and medium bitter, all very lemon-y. Not great but nice enough.
