Announcing the coming of summer, Summer from Hornbeer is a bit moody – just like the traditional Danish summer. You may think you will be served a plain light beer but then you discover that Summer has a taste of elderflower, honey, citrus, hops and spices. Summer is brewed with elderflower extract, giving it some natural acidity, which helps to make it extra fresh. The beer style is mostly that of a "Belgian witbier”. Summer can be an exciting welcome drink, used with light dishes, shared together with your neighbour on the terrace, on a boat or just when you want something refreshing. Ideally served chilled between 4-6 degrees in a tall glass.

Bottle bought @ De Molen, shared with Joes. Foam gushes out of the bottle causing a big head that’s as quickly gone as the beer came out of the bottle. Clear yellow color. Smell almost nothing, just slightly some herbs. Taste has a lot of carbonation in it that’s overwhelming. Aftertaste has some fruity bitterness. High, fizzy carbo, low body.

bouteille 50cl from DeMolen beershop.
