Most definitely, this first and foremost a wheat ale. You can taste the wheat from start to finish. A faint toasted note from the addition of flaked oats is present in the beer as well. This is a light bodied beer that finishes with a spicy layer in the end. The overall impression should be an easy-to-drink refreshing ale.

Bottle. Plain looking cloudy yellow beer with a light head. The aroma is lightly citric, and the flavour is bitter and citric. Overall a very plain witbier.

(Bottle -- shared with olutriippuvainen and Sinensis, thanks -- at Pikkulintu, Helsinki, on 2009-02-02) Yellow and cloudy. Small white head. Citiric acid and coriander in sweet aroma. Medium bodied and dry palate with medium carbonation. Mustiness, fruitiness, coriander, citric adid, bitterness and some grass in taste. When some yeast was poured in the taste went completely flat.

Thanks to TheCheeseMan for this one - hazy, fizzy gold beer - nose of honey, wildflowers, wheat, tangy citrus - dry and lightly bitter up front - fairly light and crisp, with some wheaty character, light citrus peel, a little bit of tartness, yeast on the back end - this is lacking a lot of complexity for a lost abbey beer - it’s refreshing, but missing character.

Bottle that came in the Port Brewing and Lost Abbey boxes of beers from Phil L’s, Beer Merchants, cheers for these Phil consumed 21-01-09. Pours pale yellow, quite hazy with a nice white cushiony head. Aroma is light lemon touch with some spice and malt. Its quite dry in the mouth and lacks a crisp refreshing bite to it, but its pleasant, some sweet malts, touch of sherbert lemon, spice and yeast make up the picture. Its fine. A6 A4 F6 P3 OV13 3.2

(11/1/08) Draught at Blue Palms in Hollywood. Hazy golden color. Aroma of orange peels, coriander and some fruits. Sweetish flavor with citrus, some coriander, yeast and some banana and apple hints. I’m not very fond of Wits usually but this is a good one.

Bottle: Poured a golden color ale with a small pure white foamy head with minimal retention and some pretty good lacing. Aroma is sweet and somewhat cloying. Taste is also way too sweet for the style with honey taking too much place in the flavor profile.Wheat malt and spices are very subtle. Body is quite full with average carbonation. I would say this is one of the most disapointing offering from this usually fine brewery.
