350ml can. Slightly cloudy, orangey deep golden to amber colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Slightly sulphureous aroma, hints of egg, citrusy hoppy overtones with lemon touch, hints of lemon biscuit. Taste is citrusy hoppy, notes of lemon, a touch of yuzu, quince and lemongrass, a minimally sulphureous touch of yolk.

Shows golden honey comb with moderate filtration and a finger of clean white foam. The nose shows just a faint hint of sweet malts. Not a lot of aroma even upon warming up. The palate is full bodied and lightly carbonated showing a hint of sweet malts but mostly moderately intense flavors of tart apricot and some pineapple. Overall, this is not bad.

Can. Hazy orange liquid with small to medium off-white head. Aroma of citrus, lemon peel, tangerine, bread, caramel and grapefruit. Taste is light sweet and light to medium bitter with notes of citrus, lemon peel, mango and caramel. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Bit on the sweet side but good hop aroma.

Cardinal 011114. Copper colour with a beige head. Aroma is fruit, apple, malt, bread, pine, pine. Flavour is fruit, apple, bread, pine, caramel. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

Can from Yamaya, Hitachinaka, Ibaraki, Japan. A golden/amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, fruity aroma. Tastes similar, hoppy, fruity, caramel.

Can pours out a gold color topped with a small sand head. Nose is some sort of tropical fruit vegetable and bread malts. Taste is as the nose with a nice tropical fruit hop note and a good malt finish it a little bitter grapefruit.

330ml can from Masuyo. Slight aromas of tropical fruit and pine. Not that intense. Flavor is very malty. Creamy mouthfeel. Nothing special. Clear copper with a nice off-white head that looks good. Grapefruit on the nose with some tropical fruit. Taste is more of the same with some caramel and resin in there as well. Body is slightly watery. Finish has some solid bitterness. Can, at Cardinal. An unclear, orange colored beer with a dense, off-white to beige head leaving lacings. It’s rather weak on the nose, fruitiness and lightly bready malts, and pine cones. Lightly bitter on the palate, medium dry and medium full body, with a soft carbonation. Pine cones, fruits and bready malts in the flavor, mostly fruity in the swallow. An easy drinkable beer, but lacking personality. 141101

330 ml can from Don Quijote in Akihabara, poured into a plastic cup on the Narita Express to the airport. Clear golden orange with big off-white head. Aromas of floral and citrus. Tastes of citrus, floral notes, light caramel, some herbs. Medium body with a dry finish.
