Draught @ Borefts Bier Festival 2011, Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands.Light unclear medium red amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting - diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, brown sugar, candy. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110923]

Draft at BBF 2011, described as a barleywine by the brewer. Deep golden color, thick white head, so unusual for a barleywine, as so many sem to be flat. More fruit notes than most as well. Above average.

Tap @ Borefts Beer Festival, 2011. As Barley Wine. Pours amber with a small creamy head on top. Dark fruit, Caramel, yeast and hops. Medium bodied. Chewy malty with a touch of alcohol. Tasty!

From tap at Wildeman. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is dark roasted malty, breadish and light yeasty. Thick malty, roasted and breadish. Dark malty, light yeasty and roasted finish.

tap at de molen... deep red brown ... thin off white head ... sweet cherry roast nose ... dark cherry toffee roast... rich vine fruitd .. hint of wine ... rivh and full nice

Tap @ In De Wildeman. Dark redbrown, slightly hazy. Small beige head. Aroma’s are malty sweet, a bit of roast, toffee, sweet fruit. Flavor is very sweet, cloying. Drinks surprisingly easy. Finishes a bit roasted & bitterish. Too sweet for my taste.
