From bottle to pint glass. I generally like this brewery but this one missed the mark. Aroma and flavor are both laden with over crystal and biscuit malt. Slight earthy and floral hops in the back are nice. Clear full copper with white head that fades to a collar. Malty and sugary finish that could have been dried out more with a different yeast.

Bomber from Uptown. Pours a copper color with a large white head. A big caramel and toast nose. Caramel, toast, pine, medium bitterness, soft perfume. Pretty nice. A sort of throwback IPA. Smooth.

On tap at Både&. An unclear dark amber colored beer with a dense finger thick light beige head leaving sexy lacing. The aroma is rather hoppy, piney and lightly citrusy, with caramel and roasted malts in the back. It’s full bodied, nicely carbonated and semi sweet, with a delicious bitterness. Pine cones, citrus zest and caramel malts in the flavor. Some bread notes. Really long finish with dark malts in the back, some sweetness, and a healthy dose of hop flavors and bitterness. Nice indeed, very moreish. 161202

Tap @ Bakgården. Unclear dark orange body with a small but lacing off-white head. Aroma is strong caramel malt, some biscuit, ripe fruit and hint of pine. Flavor is sweet caramel malt, bread, dry fruit, ripe fruit, some pine and quite biter. Full bodied and long lasting aftertaste with caramel malt and bitter hops. Close to what I would describe as an Imperial brown ale.

On draught at the brewpub. The beer pours a hazy reddish-copper color with a medium white head that diminishes gradually to an outer ring. Strings of lacing. The aroma consists of fruit, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, caramel malt and a bit of pine. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

Gylden brun klar med fingerhøyt hvitt skum. Søt lukt, karamell, fudge og sjokolade. Lukter godis altså, mellers.... Middels fylde. Søt start, karamell, noe brent, sjokolade, noe kaffe. Middels bitterhet kommer utover, og sitter lenge.
