Self described as copper colored (amber); clean, with large head. The aroma is a not metallic. The caramel flavor is not appealing, although at least it’s dry, hence not chewy; strong bitterness, resiny, no fruity hops.
Quite old style. Powerful but not sexy.

On tap at the Pacific City brewpub. Golden orange Amber malty carmel malt flavors, light hop flavors plenty of bitterness. Astringent sharp bitter I u bite.

Pours ruddy copper with a creamy edge head. Aroma of fruit and citrus. Med body or better. Flavor is citrus, fruit and some brown sugar. A bit undry, but flavorful and bitter enough. Indeed.

Draft pour pint at The Collective, during brewers night. Darker copper pour with an active fizz head. Sweet malt aroma. Very malty all around for an IPA. Sweet, caramel aroma. Soft hops and spice finish. Pretty refreshing overall. IPA’s on the malty side tend to be less appealing to me than this was. Quite nice.

On tap at April Brews Day, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is fairly subdued, with piney hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with monolithic piney hops and some metallic notes. Meh.

Draft - Sweet citrus and a bit syrupy. Clear gold with a small white head. Bitter grapefruit and a pithy bitterness. Solid.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear amber with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is earth and floral. Medium mouth, bitter hop bite, pine, lingering resin finish, good.

On tap at Pelican brewing. Pours out a crisp copper amber topped with a small sand. nose is nice floral hops melon and some tropical fruit. Taste is more of the nice hop mix pine and floral.

Bottle from Albertsons. Dank is the first thing that comes to mind, and the name is appropos as it does taste a little dirty. Caramel malts peek out from under the hops, but it’s those hops that give this brew it’s character.
