Taster at Parallel 49 shared with Andrey. Dark hazy copper. Aroma is some sweet and sour fruits with tea notes. Taste is similar. No evidence of barrel aging. Lean body as for 12%. Maybe it is not bad beer but definitely a BAD BBA BW.

Draught at the brewery; Whiskey barrel, vintage 2015
Murky amber colour. Vanilla aroma. Not much body, not much malt flavour, no depth, light sweetness, some vegetables. Some booze.
Very chaotic.

On tap at the brewer, sign said 11% alcohol. Has a good brown sugar sweetness on the note, and a nice head on top of a muddy brown body. Flavour is mellow sugar and molasses, and alcohol is very well hidden. Mouthfeel is sugary but not excessive and still balanced. It's a very fine barley wine, not overbearing at all.

Draft - Sweet cherry and caramel notes. Clearish Amber with a decent beige head. Sweet, umame and a touch of cherry and caramel. An odd barley wine.

On tap at Storm, pours a cloudy orange with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out lots of whiskey barrels upfront, followed by caramel. Flavour is quite barrel heavy, with whiskey and wood upfront, followed by sweet caramel and butterscotch. Better than the base beer, but still not overly intriguing. Decent.
