Draught at the brewery
Dark amber color, clean, with compact head. The aroma is a bit dusty, and a trace of roasted malts. A little residual sweetness helps to balance the flavor of dark caramel and dark malts, followed by robust bitterness, and never getting ashy.
Nice.

On Tap at the Mount Vernon brewery Light for a brown ale. Clean palate and just a hint of roasted caramelized malt flavor.s . A bit too light to have much flavor or character

Draft - Toffee, plum and some earthy cocoa. Cloudy brown with a rich beige off white head. Molasses, dark sugars and some dark fruity sweetness. Not bad.

On tap at Farmstrong, pours a hazy amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma is subtle, with toasted nuts and bready malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted nuts, bready malts and a slight fruitiness. Restrained but it's what you want from a brown ale. Nice stuff for what it is.
