Vey dark brown, slick looking. Light sweet cocoa noted, coffee is very restarined. Light Belgian plum note a lighter body, a ligtly sweet finish. Cocoa notes are really fun in the aftertaste. An easier drinking Belgian Dark Strong with light adjuncty notes.

On tap at Crucible, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma is subtle, with dark fruits, candied sugar, and light burnt notes. Flavour is very dry, with burnt dark fruits, candied sugar, toffee and Belgian yeast. Complex and wonderfully layered. Very good.
