Noblesse is a noble blond high fermentation beer. Referred to as “transition beer” for those people who are seasoned lager drinkers, but now like to try something different. The fresh hoppiness and drinkability lends the beer as an excellent aperitif beer. Thirst-quenching, with a spicy aftertaste and a sweet aftertaste.

Bottle from Belgiuminabox. Pours a cloudy golden/amber colour with a huge off-white head. Small amount of sediment in the glass. Nice lacing. Aromas of stoney fruits, peaches, apricots, pineapple, mild banana, spice, bread and hints of floral, caramel and honey. Taste is fairly mild with similar notes to the aroma but not as pronounced. Medium bodied with a very slight prickly mouthfeel and a spicy fruity dry finish. Overall not quite as much flavour as the nose might suggest but still very good for a beer of only 5.5% abv.

330ml bottle; BBE May 2020. Poured into a Forbidden Fruit chalice at home on 24th Sep 2019. I allowed the sediment to leave the bottle, so my golden body became dull, held some floaters and had a haze to it, on top a lasting white head. Spicy, yeasty nose and taste, most enjoyable.

Bottle. Aroma is a bit manure like (!), but also grainy, herbal. Taste is good, light and refreshing, bit of sweetness, lightly floral, yeasty.

Bottle. Gusher. Orange blonde and cloudy. leather, lemon and grapefruit in the bretty aroma. Firm flowery hopbitter flavor, citric and even a bit oily. Hints of brett. Not unlike a raw and a bit watery Orval with a dash of lambic. Leathery aftertaste. Nice!

0.33l bottle. Hazy orange body with a thick white head. Aroma and taste of bready malts, toast, orange and lemon zest, pears and peppers. The finish has a nice grassy hoppyness to it too. Good one.

RB backlog. Very grainy and a bit too sweet for me. If you're into malt-forward Blonde Ales, this is for you though. Thanks benzai!
