On tap at El Segundo, pours a deep dark red-tinged brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings lots of vanilla extract, with a light toasted malt backbone. Flavour is loaded with intense vanilla, moderate roast and a touch of bitterness. Lots of roasty, vanilla-y character. Pleasant.

Draft - Dark roast and some dark chocolate. Deep jet brown with a decent light brown head. Dark roast and some dark chocolate. I don’t get vanilla.

(tap) clear very dark brown colour with a small brown head; aroma of roast, vanilla; very well balanced flavour with long light bitter finish; slightly creamy palate

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours dark brown black with a dark tan head. Aroma of vanilla, dark treacle and chocolate. Med body or better. Flavor is vanilla chocolate, and then there’s a strong impact of smoke. Not just burnt malt. Smoke. Rauchbier! Coats my mouth like BBA stuff. Or single malt age stuff for that matter. Damn impressive.
