On tap in a pint glass. Slightly spicy and grainy malt aroma. Hazy pale yellow with a white head that dissipates quickly to a ring. Sweet grain and pronounced lemon flavor. Spicy phenol finish.

11.2oz bottle. Pale yellow-straw-tan. Steady white head. Insane fast rising carbonation bubbles. Has a lot more creamy, doughy, yeast notes than I would have expected, even though it is clearly filtered. Actually is the best Belgian Pilsener I’ve had maybe. Clean, not so much emphasis on the hops, more like a German Lager. A touch too thick on the palate so not really nailing the style. Overall, better than I expected, a decent malty lager.

Draft, Toronado. Served in a branded glass. Looks kinda like a gueze glass. Pours a bright, golden shade of yellow. Perfectly clear. Medium head which seems pretty good for a cold pour to the brim. Very white. Very fine bubbles. Good lacing. Aroma is a bit light on hops but there’s a fresh, pleasant grain character. It’s sweet and a bit doughy. The hops provide a little lemon and grass in the background. The taste starts sweet with pale malt. A bit more of that doughy, bready flavor. Nice lager yeasty note in the middle. Picks up some apple flavor which I don’t love. That apple cider flavor lasts into the finish which could use a touch more hops. What’s there is lemony. Mouthfeel is light but somewhat creamy. Gentle effervescence. Good pils but not fantastic.

Clear pale yellow golden colour, white head. Aroma of malts, light banana. Quite sweet flavour. Sweet malty finish.
Clean pilsener, not bad, not great. Could’ve done with a bit more hops imho.
(From 25cL bottle @ local bar, Baarle-Hertog)

25cl bottle Terre de Boissons, Calais. Clear pale gold thick white head. Aroma of mass produced sickly lager on the aroma. It’s a bit inoffensive in mouth, in fact quite smooth and lacking in flavour. Some lemon on the finish. If I had to drink a bunch of mass produced lager you could do worse, but this isn’t very good. 2.0 re rate Heerlijk. I mean it's still not great. Some malt some sting on finish some lemon flavour. It was cold.

the word goes that this is bock with a diffrent kind of gas or something like that. anyway, they pushed out bock ( a great pils) of all the bars, and replaced it with this... brew... taste is recognizable but less good and gets borning soooo quickly. lets just conclude we want bock back and let this one dissapear instead?
