At Matt’s place. Intense aroma and taste with notes of vanilla, sweet apples, some bourbon and a slight touch of wood. Some notes of raw yeast pastry in the aftertaste. Veeery interesting.

375mL bottle, pours a fairly clear blonde with a few bubbles. Aroma brings out lots of vanilla and honey, with floral notes underneath. Flavour brings out lots of vanilla (maybe from the barrel), along with a touch of wood, flowers and honey. The honey presence is very prominent, not masked by anything else. Wonderfully balanced, with only a slight boozy finish. Excellent.

Tasting at Matt’s; corked bottle
Hazy blond color. Mild and delicate aroma, notes of mead and vanilla, flowery. It doesn’t seem so dry, the mouthfeel is very soft; not much mead flavor per se, but it has a strong presence of Bourbon, a bit woody in the final. The alcohol is a bit noticeable.

Bottle - Grassy, honey and nice sweetness. Pale gold. Sweet honey, some flowery notes and weird Woody notes. No bourbon here for me.

Bottle. Sweet floral honey, vanilla, and light oaky aroma. Clear pale gold. Sweet floral honey, vanilla, oak, and light alcohol flavor. Medium full body, light alcohol burn.
