Bottle at home - 05/09/12. Pours a clear mid brown with a decent off-white head that retained fairly well. Nose is malts, nuts, toffee and a little woodiness and a pinch of cinnamon. Tastes of brown sugar, malt, prunes, toffee and a little nutty and a crumb or two of biscuit. Medium bodied with soft carbonation, perhaps a little over carbonated. Medium sweet finish. A little thin.

Henrik Ol & Vinstove, Bergen tap: Pours a brown colour with an off-white head. Aroma is fruity and sweet malty. Taste is lightly sweet and heavily fruity. Tis does have a nice body. Some earth. This is good, but it is one of the more forgettable beers from Nogne O.

500ml bottle. Cloudy redish dark amber colour with average frothy lacing tan head. Malty aroma, some milk chocolate, hay, an earthy and mossy note. Diversified taste, a sweet malty strain, dark berry tart, this milk chocolate and hay mixture again as continous "middle" strain. Dry, slightly herbal finish that may arouse from fruit parings.
