This beer is a bit of an experiment using the first runnings from a Saison brew. We added dextrose and Saaz hops to the fermentation to create a stronger and hoppier version of the Saison. This puts this in the Belgian Golden Strong category. We fermented it with Ardenne’s yeast.

Hazy blond color, more head than usual Main Street, not compact, but with nice lace. The aroma is a bit spicy and fruity, appreciated for being delicate (6+). The body is thinner than expected, the flavor is kinda missing, light yeast character, and low bitterness, although the lack of it is attenuated by a relative dryness (6--).
Nothing bad, but it’s a rather shallow beer.

Draft - Perfumy grains. Light hazy gold and a rich white head. Sweet, estery with some light perfume. ABV is well hidden.

On tap at Main Street, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out candied sugar and Belgian yeast. Flavour is pretty Belgian yeast dominated, with candied sugar, floral notes, and a little booze. Pretty uncomplex and lacking character, but it's clean and drinkable. Decent.
