Bottle split at Level 42, thanks to Fergoos, 24/05/16. Chestnut brown with a moderate light beige swirl on top. Nose is brown bread, earthy, light spice, booze notes, hint of banana. Taste comprises rich malt, fruit loaf, tofffee, nana esters, light spice, booze drool, toasted brown sugar. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a rising boosty bite. Decent enough high boost bock.

Bottle at level 42 thanks to Fergus. The aroma is sweet, brown bread, toffee, fruit cake, raisin, sultana and earth. The taste is smooth, rich malt action, brown bread, malt loaf, fruit cake, booze, leather, toast, raisin, wood and toffee with a chewy malt finish. Medium+ body and average carbonation. Boosty and malty. Not bad for style.

330 ml bottle thanks to Douberd! Hazy dark amber copper color with light beige head. Malty aroma, fruity, dark dried fruits, tart vinous notes, wood, smoked notes, caramel, bread. Sweet and bitter like aroma without the tart notes and with more intense smoked notes. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

At home. Bottle shared. Sweet toasted caramel malts, figgs, marmalade, gunpowder tea, black seaweed. Over medium sweet, over medium bitter. Full body, light grainy texture. Too much like sweetened bitter tea.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Very dark reddish brown with off white head. Figs, raisins, caramel, quite some herbs and alcohol. Basically lots of herbal candies and Jagermeister. Medium sweet and a bit over medium bitter. Over medium bodied with nice fitting carbonation. Bit too bitter and alcoholic for me.
